The ‘Hooked on Healing’ annual motorcycle ride is dedicated to support the work of The Arizona Stand Down and the Phoenix program of Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.

The Arizona Stand Down is an alliance of community-based organizations that come together to provide annual, one to three day events that bring together Arizona’s homeless and at-risk milirary veterans… connecting them with services ranging from health care, mental health services, emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, clothing, meals, showers, haircuts and a myriad of other services and resources.

Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing was first established at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing currently has 205 operational programs in 50 states including our Phoenix program. The Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing program is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities such as fly tying and rod building classes and local fly fishing outings.

Fans Across America Mission Statement
The Fans Across America Charitable Foundation’s Board of Directors is made-up of volunteers from a variety of careers and backgrounds. Collectively, their objective is to guide the organization towards its ongoing mission to provide daily living necessities for homeless students, homeless families in transition and victims of domestic violence.

Our ride has been dubbed the ‘Hooked on Healing Veterans’ Ride which is a fitting moniker considering the veteran focused organizations that benefit annually from the ride.
